10 Downing Street - Petition to the Prime Minister has been Approved

Yesterday Wednesday 4th July 2007, at 2.18 pm, I received the following email from 10 Downing Street:

"Subject: Your Petition to the Prime Minister has been Approved.

Your petition has been approved by the Number 10 web team, and is now available on the Number 10 website at the following address:

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/RuthEllis55/

Your Petition reads:

We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to look again at the 1955 Ruth Ellis case in light of new evidence that the Old Bailey in 1955 never got to hear. Evidence that shows Ruth Ellis was innocent of the crime for which she was hanged....."

Please go to the website for more details. And, if like me, you believe that the Prime Minister should look again at the Ruth Ellis case, please sign the Petition.

It is only by getting support from the people of this country that justice for Ruth and her family will finally be served.

Thank you.

Monica Weller
